The start-up Zozio works with L’Oréal for the management of stocks and flows in its factories of Vichy and La Roche-Posay.
Tech start-up Zozio, chosen by Challenges as one of the 100 start-ups to invest in 2021, announces the successful deployment of its inventory & flow optimization solution at its client L’Oréal, a world leader in beauty.
Installed in 2020 in L’Oréal’s two Active Cosmetics Production plants, located in Vichy and La Roche-Posay, Zozio’s solution provides technological expertise in terms of flow optimization and inventory management.
The global solution for flow optimization
L’Oréal’s Cosmétique Active Production industrial sites have called on Zozio, the Paris-based start-up, with the objective of optimizing flows within and in transit between its Vichy and La Roche-Posay plants. In its quest for operational excellence and in response to environmental challenges, L’Oréal chose Zozio to improve the logistics of its fixed and mobile tanks.
In order to meet the needs of Cosmétique Active Production, Zozio has implemented its solution to collect, visualize and analyze field data connected to the plant software data.

How does the solution work?
Zozio’s team installs an IoT system, based on Ultra Wideband geolocation technology, in a few hours to retrieve information about the actual flow of industrial equipment.
The system then retrieves information from plant management software (ERP, WMS, etc.) to enrich its platform with information needed by the end user.
Thus, the platform gives employees a global vision of the production. With this clear vision, Zozio allows to optimize stocks and flows in real time.
The optimized solution for teams
In addition to optimizing flows and providing traceability within the plant, Zozio’s solution also facilitates daily work. Employees have immediate access to data on the status, location and history of tank movements from the ergonomic platform.
A true digital companion, Zozio simplifies the employee’s day on several levels: the operator is freed from time-consuming and repetitive tasks, and the manager is assisted in his decision making thanks to the field information at his fingertips.

Indeed, the platform is very easy to use and “has been integrated very simply by all colleagues of the two factories Vichy and La Roche-Posay of Cosmétique Active Production”, adds Jean-Yves Larraufie, Managing Director of Cosmétique Active Production.
