The L’Oréal group is the world’s leading cosmetics company and a major player in digital transformation and factory 4.0.
Their quest for excellence aims to best satisfy their customers while respecting environmental issues and relying on state-of-the-art technologies.
L’Oréal’s Active Cosmetics Division called on Zozio to optimize the flows in its Vichy and La Roche-Posay plants.
Active Cosmetics Division industrial sites were looking for a solution allowing to :
1. Reduce the time-consuming and costly search for mobile tanks
2. Improve the traceability of the tank fleet within and between sites
3. Reduce production costs, especially in terms of raw material losses
Zozio provides an answer to L’Oréal’s needs through its ergonomic platform, especially in :
Thanks to Zozio, L’Oréal employees are automatically alerted in case of detection of an inconsistency and manage their inventories without stock deviation.
The solution is a customizable platform that can be easily configured via an ergonomic interface adapted to all types of media (PC, laptop, tablet).
Zozio relies on geolocation badges placed on L’Oréal’s 300 tanks that capture information on their content and movements in real time.
The information collected by these badges can be viewed instantly on the platform using modules developed by Zozio, such as maps, tables and dashboards, allowing for data analysis and optimization of flows on the sites.
The platform responds to a lean manufacturing strategy which consists, thanks to a global vision of the company’s flows, in reducing production costs.
It includes an alert module to identify errors on the production line, a dashboard for daily monitoring of tanks, as well as analysis tables for fixed assets and flows.
Zozio’s solution operates without a wired infrastructure, which allowed for rapid installation (within hours) of the equipment at L’Oréal’s sites.
The technological know-how offers an agile solution adapted to the customer’s needs.
