About · Our story
The Story of Zozio
From the founding wager — selling geolocation services rather than sensors — to a scheduling and operations management platform deployed across Europe and the United States.
2018
Foundation

Bastien founds Zozio
Bastien Triclot creates Zozio to address an industrial challenge: giving factories real-time visibility over their flows. Holder of a Franco-German dual degree from Arts et Métiers and the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie, he combines solid knowledge of the industrial sector, international markets, and new technologies (AI, PLM, semiconductors).
2018
Partnership

Fabrice Jutteau joins the venture
Bastien quickly teams up with Fabrice Jutteau, former Head of New Markets at SFR and Head of Client Technical Services for the Wholesale Business Unit. A key figure in the Parisian start-up scene for ten years, he completes the founding duo around a shared conviction: sell services, not sensors.
2022
ROBIN

The platform becomes ROBIN
Zozio officially names its platform Real-Time Operation Business Intelligence Nexus — better known by its product name, ROBIN.
2022
Product

ROBIN manages operations
A new module dedicated to operations management: real-time visibility over WIP (work in progress), task orchestration, priority management, and an alerts & notifications management module.
Late 2023
Redesign

Platform redesign
A complete visual overhaul and new architecture, entirely no-code and therefore 100 % customisable. The platform gains in clarity and modularity, laying the technical foundations for products to come.
2024
Series A

A funding round to scale up
€4M
A four-million-euro funding round led by three funds. In practice, it finances three priorities: accelerating product development, strengthening the technical and commercial teams, and opening new international markets.
2024
Scheduling

Finite capacity scheduling
A new module enters the platform: finite capacity scheduling, with the ability to reschedule effortlessly after every disruption. The digital model of the shop floor accounts for all resources — containers, machines, operators and skills, tooling, and real-time WIP.
Context
A market: manufacturers with complex flows and high variability
Disruption management, job shop, batch processing, MRO maintenance: ROBIN targets environments where variability has a strong impact on production.
“Legacy tools take a snapshot of the plan — Robin films the flow continuously.”
2025
International

Expansion to the United States
Opening of a US office with a dedicated sales team. Zozio brings its technology to the North American industrial market.
2025
Algorithms

Integration of the gold-medal algorithm from the MiniZinc Challenge
ROBIN's constraint-solving algorithm wins gold at the MiniZinc Challenge, the global competition for optimisation algorithms.
2026
AI

Generative AI in the platform
Generative AI enters ROBIN: simplified creation of visuals and faster information retrieval. Users access the right data at the right moment, more quickly.
2027
ROBIN.Assist

ROBIN.Assist enters the planning interface
The planner discusses with their schedule: they query the situation, request scenarios, and watch the assistant reason over constraints. ROBIN.Assist evaluates the impact of each decision before it is applied — the algorithm thinks, the human decides.
