Why Zozio Exists
Even today, most shop floors run their production on yesterday's data. The schedule is locked on Monday; reality has contradicted it by Tuesday morning. Between the ERP that says what should happen and the shop floor that lives what actually happens, there is a gap.
Our DNA
The plan follows reality
Dynamic scheduling is the most structuring innovation in the world of schedulers in 20 years. Not because it is smarter — but because it finally matches reality on the ground.
Legacy tools (Preactor, native ERP) take a snapshot of the plan. Zozio films the flow continuously. This difference is not marginal: in a world that is becoming ever more complex, a “static” plan on the shop floor is obsolete before it is even printed.
Being dynamic is our strongest differentiating position — and our most honest promise: software that adapts to the real world.
Readable by the shop floor
Powerful software doesn't have to be complex. A good interface is one that the shop-floor operator understands in 30 seconds and can, if needed, adapt themselves in 5 minutes. (No consultant required)
Like a dark cockpit, we filter dashboards so that each user sees only the right information.
The most common and widely used dashboards are static and standard.
Natural language, for its part, will become a new interaction standard reserved for the most complex and specific cases.
One plan, every function
Methods, production, maintenance and quality work from the same shop-floor truth, at the same moment.
- The augmented operatorPeople stay at the centre. AI and systems don't automate decisions — they amplify each person's ability to understand, act and collaborate. The interface becomes a natural extension of the role.
- The open ecosystemNo silos. Zozio integrates, connects and can be customised. API-first, MCP-ready, with no user limits. Customers co-build through a library of use cases and hooks. The opposite of SAP.
- Holistic dataData belongs to those who produce it. Every user accesses what they need in real time, without going through an IT department or an Excel export. Silos fall because access is universal, not centralised.
- Tomorrow's standardsProduction HMIs will converge towards AI-driven conversational standards. Zozio anticipates this norm: robust interfaces, accessible to every role, that make the software as natural as a conversation.
Even today, most shop floors run production on yesterday's data. The schedule is frozen on Monday, and reality has already contradicted it by Tuesday morning. Between the ERP saying what should happen and the shop floor living what actually happens, there is a gap.
Everyone fills that gap by hand: Excel files, shop-floor walk-rounds, phone calls, crisis meetings. A factory doesn't lack capacity — it lacks real-time ground truth.
Zozio exists to close that gap. Three commitments keep us to it.
No blind decisions
A scheduler should never have to guess where a part is, or whether a workstation will hold the load. We capture the physical reality of the shop floor — WIP position, operation-by-operation progress, actual load — and make it readable. No black box, no after-the-fact reporting: what is true now, visible now.
A plan that lives at the pace of the shop floor
A breakdown, a late part, an absence: disruption is not the exception, it is everyday industrial life. We reject the snapshot schedule you have to endure. Scheduling must recalculate when reality changes , and propose the best possible sequence within today's constraints — not last week's.
The algorithm calculates, the human decides
We are not building an autopilot. A shop-floor manager knows their team, their machines, their customers — better than any model. Our job is to give them the best scenario, the quantified consequences of each trade-off, and the authority to make the call. Technology serves the person who carries the responsibility, never the other way round.
